The Moot of Amaul was the first gathering of the two-hundred and eleven Elven tribes of the Ashkash desert and resulted in the formation of the Sanstyr Conclave. The tribes were brought together by High-Priest Farrael, hero of the Great Event, following the human Empire's failed invasion of the Island of Ro. High-Priest Farrael declared the moot to be the final solution to inter-tribal conflict, when in reality it was a diplomatic manouvre to show the human Empire that the Elves were a people united in solidarity. Since its creation in 881 A.G.E., clashes between the Royal Empire and the Sanstyr Conclave have been few, far between and mainly springing from trade disagreements.
