A young soldier of noble blood, Wilk Grey served alongside his brothers in the protection of the Royal Empire, from the dry heat of the Isfal boarders to the snowy wastes north of Tordenjord's northernmost mountains. He gained promotion and distinction in his execution of duty, noted for his honour, morality, bravery and tactical awareness. His life was cut violently short during the infamous breakout of Isbyen prison. Unaided, he rode to the aid of the floundering city guard and met his death in a fair duel with one of the prisoners.
News of his death has sparked outrage with the people of his homeland, Faldon, and has served only to heighten the stature of his family within the Empire and tighten the grip with which his second cousin, Lord Samuel Grey, rules over the city of Isbyen as its regent.
